Preserving the natural comfort unique to silk, this original fabric is made from silk spun pongee yarn that has been specially given a strong twist to create just the right amount of stretch and strength for everyday wear. Silk offers excellent moisture absorption, breathability, and heat retention, and because it is a protein fiber composed of amino acids similar to those found in human skin, it provides an exceptionally comfortable feel even when worn directly against the skin.
The design is based on a classic T-shirt, with carefully adjusted proportions for a balanced silhouette. Details such as the sleeve and hem finishes, along with the taco binder construction running from the shoulders to the neckline, are all designed with durability in mind, ensuring the strength needed for long-lasting T-shirt construction.
